At the heart of many industrial processes, from chemical reactors to the electrosynthesis of compounds, there are rapid and intense electrical phenomena that must be monitored with extreme precision. Pulse discharges, microvoltage variations or very short-duration current peaks can hide vital information on the integrity of the system, the efficiency of the processes or the state of the electrodes involved.
To meet this need, our team has developed a compact and high-resolution sensor capable of detecting currents up to hundreds of amperes and voltage variations in milliseconds, without the use of invasive transformers or complex connections. The device can be adapted to industrial machinery, high-power welding machines, electrolysis plants, or in general in all contexts where electrical parameters represent a critical variable to be controlled.
Main technical features:
- Non-invasive Hall effect sensor, configurable based on the threshold and expected range.
- High-frequency sampling, capable of recording 2–3 ms pulses.
- Simultaneous detection of current and voltage to obtain correlation curves useful for comparative analysis.
- Wireless interface integrable via Wi-Fi or BLE, compatible with data logging systems or cloud platforms.
- Real-time alert on configurable thresholds for repetitive anomalies or instabilities. The system can also be used in environments with high electromagnetic risk, thanks to galvanic isolation and shielded case.
Thanks to the possibility of complete customization of the firmware and IoT integration, the sensor can be adapted to very specific needs,
